The AAP has announced that measles outbreaks have been reported in multiple states. As of this writing, there have been "nearly a dozen" measles cases this year so far in the U.S.
There have been several well-publicized measles outbreaks where 95 to 100 percent of cases were completely vaccinated for measles.
Also, the myth perpetrated by the measles vaccine zealots that measles was "eradicated" is just another example of changing definitions. Eradicated means eradicated - eliminated - to 0 cases. But for measles, "eradicated" just measles reduced to under a prefered number. Measles has in fact never been and likely will never be, eradicated.
Today, Marcella Piper-Terry published another excellent article on measles by a guest author. This article was originally written in 2013 on another platform, but is very applicable today in everything but the dates!
